Under Windows 10, when I started the iomega encryption utility, it did not allow me to put in my code. I tried the above solution going to Windows Defender but actually had that all turned off already, so that did not work. Was this reply helpful? Dude this worked like a charm, was about to toss my GB drive as I though tit was incompatible. Apparently it is just a software issue.

My updated Windows 10 doesn't recognize my 1 TB eGo Iomega drive using the Lenovo tool, instead my professional laptop in Windows 7 where it works fine Same here, I really don't get Microsoft they know they have compatibility issues with this device check it before updating your software.

Now for the good news, changing the device driver to the compatible on Disk Driver seems to work - on the bad sided this only for one time and the next time you connect the drive you would need to do that again.
